Marriage Application James Earl KERNS and Margaret DIVELBISS
"Application 59689 for License to Marry, State of Missouri, County of Jackson. Affidavit of Male: I, Earl Kerns of Hemple, County of Clinton and State of Missouri, desiring to procure a license to marry Margaret Divelbiss of Hemple, County of Clinton and state of Missouri do hereby solemnly swear, that I am the age of 22 years, and that the said [blank] is of the age of 20 years, and that we are both single and unmarried and not first cousins, and may lawfully contract and be joined in marriage. Affidavit of Female: I, Margaret Divelbiss, do hereby solemnly swear that I am the person named in the above application for a marriage license, and that I m the age of 20 years, and that I am single and unmarried, and may lawfully contract and be joined in marriage.
