The Division of Health of Missouri, Standard Certificate of Death. John Franklin died at home 20 April 1949 at age 69 of carcinoma of prostate, a condition he had for 8 months. Lived at 618 N. 10th Street St. Joseph, Buchanan, Missouri for 40 years. Born 26 January 1880 in Easton, Missouri to John F. Gregory and Surepta Wills. Married to Carolyn Gregory at time of death. Was not a member of the U.S. Armed Forces. Had no Social Security Number. Usual occupation was retired foreman of Hog Dep't. Armour & Co. Doctor was Frank Cardigan, address: 620 Frances St. St. Joseph. Burial was 22 April 1949 in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri. Certificate #11542 recorded 25 Apr 1949 by E. C. Jenkins. Funeral Director was Walter Mecerhoffer, 1946 Calhoun St, St. Joseph.
