To the Honorable Judge of the Probate court of said County: The undersigned respectfully make application for a Marriage License for said parties, and upon oath state:
That said Mahlon F. Hooper is 38 years of age on the 7 day of November 1925, his residence is Peebles Ohio, his place of birth is Peebles Ohio, his occupation is County Commissioner, his father's name if Thomas A. Hooper, his mother's maiden name was Laura A. Reid, that he was not previously married, and that he has no wife living.
That said Elma Edith Shumaker is 26 years of age on the 6 day of September 1925, her residence is Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, her place of birth is Adams County, Ohio, her occupation is clerk, her father's name is Newton E. Shumaker, her mother's maiden name was Mary E. Setty, that she was not previously married and is not a widow or divorced woman.
